Coach Sergio Gradilla

“As a coach, I believe it’s my responsibility to teach my players how to be leaders on and off the field. Touchdowns Against Cancer provides an opportunity for our players to look beyond football, into something more important in life — helping others.”

- Sergio Gradilla Whittier Christian High School (CA) Head Coach

At St. Jude, Isaac’s treatment for a rare type of leukemia included chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant. One of his older sisters was his bone marrow donor. Post- transplant, Isaac is thriving. He’s a happy, playful kid who likes sports, especially wrestling. “At St. Jude, we didn’t have to worry about housing or food,” Isaac’s mom said. “We could just focus on Isaac."
